There’s a snowstorm heading in our direction, creeping up on us from the south. Meteorologists are saying that areas like Baltimore and Washington D.C. will be hit the hardest, with expected snow levels of 16 to 18 inches. The storm system began in the western Gulf of Mexico and is expected to travel up the eastern seaboard. For warmer parts of the south, flood warnings were issued in multiple cities and states.
The current conjecture is that by Saturday evening, most of the Baltimore and D.C. area will under at least a foot of snow. Further north, areas like Philadelphia and parts of New Jersey can expect about 6 to 12 inches. Lastly, the southern sections of the New England area, like New York City and Long Island, can expect about 3 to 6 inches of snow. Supposedly, the outer rim of the storm will just touch our city and hopefully, the full impact of the storm will never make it here to NYC.
