Today was the last day of the Olympics, with only two events and the closing ceremonies on the schedule. The U.S. team added one more medal to their long list, but unfortunately it was only a silver. The Canadian team beat us in Men’s Hockey event 3 – 2, but we can be proud of our 37 medals in the Vancouver Olympics.
Ice Hockey – Men’s Gold Medal Game – Game 30
It was Zach Parise and Ryan Kesler who scored the goals for us in the game. If it wasn’t for Sidney Crosby scoring the final goal in the last period, we would have tied and could’ve decided it in overtime. Finland came in third and took the bronze medal in this event.
