According to the British Airways website, a majority of their crew plan to strike at the end of the month. The reported strike dates are: March 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, and 30. There will be a total of seven days of striking, however not all flights will be canceled. The airline says that it still intends to operate a small range of flights and are no longer selling any seats for flights operating on the strike days.

They plan to finalize the flight schedule in the next few days. According to their website, all flights to and from London City and all long haul flights to and from London Gatwick will continue to operate normally and any changes to bookings on these flights are subject to the original fare rules. For all other flights, if you are booked to travel between 19 and 31 March 2010, you have the choice of re-booking or canceling and obtaining a refund.

Basically, the airline is saying they will operate all flights from London City airport, including long-haul services to New York. If you are booked on a flight between London City and New York (JFK) or a long-haul flight to or from London Gatwick the original fare rules will apply. They also plan on obtaining seats on flights operated by other carriers to offer to its customers.
