Michigan State Spartans
With less than 30 seconds left on the shot clock, Tennessee draws a foul. Hopson goes to the line and ties the game 69 – 69 with his first free throw. The Spartans call a time out for a final time to see how they can proceed after Scotty Hopson takes his second free throw.

The young player misses his second free throw with only a 59.5% and then Tenessee fouls a Spartan and Michigan State goes to the free throw line. The game becomes 70 – 69 with one second less on the stop clock. Tennessee takes the ball, but is unable to make the shot in that last second. Michigan State wins and they go to the final four for the second consecutive year.

Butler Recap

Butler took down another top seed last night to make it to the final four. The team defeated number two seed Kansas State 63 -56. The game was neck to neck, until the last few minutes of the game, when Butler turned on the heat.

With Butler, West Virginia, and Michigan State we’re still waiting for Duke and Baylor to battle it out for the last spot in the final four. You can watch the game in about 20 minutes, starting at 5pm EST. It would be a nice upset to have Butler defeat Duke, but I have Duke going all the way so for monetary reasons, I’m hoping Duke wins. By the way, I’m assuming Baylor loses if I’m confusing you.
