On a river bank in Eastern China, a fisherman discovered the corpses of infants floating the water. They couldn’t believe their eyes at first, think that they were only plastic dolls, but a closer looks revealed the horrible truth. The dead babies were identified using the hospital tags still attached to them.

Using the tags, authorities tracked the bodies back to Jining Medical College Hospital. The ages of the infants ranged from newborns up to almost a year old. Many residents were outraged over this incident. It wasn’t just the contaminated drinking waters, but a case of morality. How could the hospital staff be so cold as to just dump the bodies without a proper burial? Police and health officials have launched an investigation and most of the staff has already been suspended.
