Most men would love the idea that Kim Kardashian (K.K.) could have a twin. However, she’s not laughing at all. In fact, K.K. has filed a lawsuit against clothing store Old Navy and its parent company Gap. The suit alleges that the company has purposely used a model that looks like her, in order to confuse the public into thinking that she supports the brand. Details of the monetary compensation being sought have not yet been released, but she is trying to have a federal judge stop the company from using anymore models that resemble her.

The model in K.K.’s crosshairs, Melissa Molinaro (M.M.), is not named in the suit. M.M. is a 29 year old Old Navy model, who also dabbles in music, acting, and choreography. Although she was born in Toronto, Ontario, M.M. moved to Rochester Hills, Michigan when she was 13. M.M.’s latest tweets seem to reinforce what many people think already, that this case seems frivolous and may possibly be another attempt by K.K. to throw herself into the spotlight. K.K. has been accredited with previous publicity seeking stunts like releasing a sex video. I sense this is the beginning of a long battle between Kim Kardashian and Melissa Molinaro.
