MediaSteed Inc. was formed in April 2009. Currently, our company consists of full-time workers who donate time to administer and contribute to this site.

During the time of our inception, unemployment rates were very high and not many companies were hiring. Many of our friends were beginning to lose hope of ever finding a job, so we created this site to keep their minds working and sanity intact. When interviewers would ask them what they have been doing since they lost their job, we wanted to give them the ability to say they were writing articles or researching new stories for us.
