Bode Miller Gold Medal
Yesterday, we took home a gold in the Alpine Skiing event. Unfortunately, that was our only medal of the night. It was the German and Russian Federation team who really outperformed everyone last night. The Germans won four medals and the Russians won three, out of the six events last night. (more…)

U.S. Olympic Medal Update 8

Shani DavisYesterday was a great day for the Koreans. They dominated the short track event in both women’s and men’s taking four medals in two events. The U.S. team didn’t do so bad either. We took three medals today out of the six scheduled medal events and we beat Great Britain in Curling – Women’s Round Robin Session 7. The American team is also leading in the total amount of medals acquired in Vancouver. (more…)

Vancouver 2010 Men's Super-G
It was a slow night in Vancouver for the U.S. team today. We only took home two medals out of the four scheduled events. Both medals came from the men’s Alpine Skiing event held earlier today at 11:30 PST. Norway had another great day today, winning two gold medals out of the four events. (more…)

The U.S. team didn’t do as well as yesterday, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t bring home any medals today. The men and women’s U.S. hockey teams triumphed over their rivals again. Unfortunately, the Curling event is still a little problematic for the U.S., but Evan Lysacek took home the gold for the figure skating event. (more…)

Huge Day For U.S. Team – Day 5

Today was a huge day for the U.S. Olympic team in Vancouver. Although we won medals in only three out of the seven events, we won many medals overall. In total, the U.S. team took six medals, of which three were gold. The three events were Ladies Alpine Skiing, Men’s Speed Skating and Men’s Snowboard. (more…)

Today, February 16th, 2010, the Chinese team pulled off a major upset in the figure skating event. They took both the gold and silver medals, while Germany pulled in the bronze. The U.S. teams successfully brought home only a gold today, but overall they took home only two medals out of the six events. (more…)
