According to news sources, Apple Inc. (AAPL) sold over 300,000 iPads during it’s debut on Friday. This number includes the people who pre-ordered their device online, shipments to stores like Best Buy, and retail sales from Apple. Regardless of how this number is calculated, we’ll be able to tell how much consumers really want this product by the end of the week. (more…)
As promised last week, Apple made it’s new iPad available for pre-order at 8:30am EST today. Once you’ve completed your pre-order, the iPad will be available for pickup or delivered free on April 3rd. Unfortunately, if you wanted the model with the optional 3G radio, you’re going to wait until the end of April for your new toy to be shipped. (more…)
Do we need another eReader or tablet PC? Probably not, but it doesn’t hurt the consumer any when the manufacturers want to compete with each other. The JooJoo Tablet is manufactured by Fusion Garage and formerly known as the “Crunchpad.” It’s release date has been pushed back to the 25th of March due to manufacturing errors. (more…)

According to an article at AppleInsider, Apple and Microsoft are being sued by an Israeli tech company. This lawsuit claims that both Microsoft and Apple infringed on patented technology regarding streaming media. The Israeli company, Emblaze, first introduced their technology in 1998 and granted a related patent on October 6th, 2009. (more…)
Earlier today, Apple introduced the next major release of its powerful photo editing and management software, called Aperture 3. Aperture 3 introduces new tools to refine your photos and share your work by weaving media files together. It also makes it even easier and faster to organize large photo libraries. The much anticipated Apple iPad was revealed by Steve Jobs today in San Francisco. In his words, the “iPad is our most advanced technology in a magical and revolutionary device at an unbelievable price.” Many people are saying on the blogs that it’s just an over-sized iPhone.
