Olympics - Ice Hockey Event
Today was the last day of the Olympics, with only two events and the closing ceremonies on the schedule. The U.S. team added one more medal to their long list, but unfortunately it was only a silver. The Canadian team beat us in Men’s Hockey event 3 – 2, but we can be proud of our 37 medals in the Vancouver Olympics. (more…)

Unfortunately, the Curling event is still a little problematic for the U.S., but Evan Lysacek took home the gold for the figure skating event. (more…)

U.S. Olympic Medal Update 4

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

If you were waiting to hear about how many medals the U.S. team won today, I’m sorry to say that it was none. Out of the five medals events, it was Germany who was the leader. The listed medal events for today were the Men & Women’s Biathlon, Women’s Luge, Snowboard and Speed Skating. This doesn’t mean that the U.S. didn’t perform well today, they were outmatched in Hockey today. (more…)

U.S. Olympic Medal Update 2

Monday, February 15th, 2010

The U.S. team didn’t do as well as they hoped on Valentine’s Day in Vancouver. Of the five medal events held today, they only brought home medals in two events. There was one silver and one bronze medal one. The good news of the day was the U.S. women’s ice hockey team destroying the Chinese team 12 – 1. (more…)
