6.3 Magnitude Quake in Spain

At around 6pm today, the USGS reported a 6.3 magnitude quake in Spain. The center of the quake struck just 15 miles south east of the city of Granada. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties on Spanish media. (more…)

Snow In Spain Causes Massive Power Outage

Remember the back to back storms that rocked Washington D.C. and much of the east coast? Well, we’re not the only ones getting a lot of snow and weird weather this year. Yesterday, the north east region of Spain received so much snow, it knocked out power for almost 250,000 people. It caused chaos for travelers and tourists, shutting down over 40 roads, many of which are near the French and Spanish borders. (more…)

Two Killed On Cruise By Rogue Waves

No one ever thinks about dieing on a cruise, but I guess we have to think twice now. Yesterday, a German and an Italian man, were killed when huge rogue waves hit a cruise ship sailing around the Mediterranean. The waves were reported to be around 26ft. high and caused glass windows all over the ship, to shatter. (more…)

Huge Storm Ravages France

France Storm
A massive storm ripped through Europe yesterday killing over 50 people so far. Approximately 45 victims perished in France, then there were three to four more deaths throughout Spain, Germany, & Portugal. According to sources, France is reporting at least 60 people are still reported missing. (more…)
