According to news sources, Apple Inc. (AAPL) sold over 300,000 iPads during it’s debut on Friday. This number includes the people who pre-ordered their device online, shipments to stores like Best Buy, and retail sales from Apple. The much anticipated Apple iPad was revealed by Steve Jobs today in San Francisco. In his words, the “iPad is our most advanced technology in a magical and revolutionary device at an unbelievable price.” Many people are saying on the blogs that it’s just an over-sized iPhone.
