When waking up this morning in New York, I knew the meteorologists called it right when I saw only a few inches on the floor outside. I had to check if the predictions of up to two feet of snow was true though. Not only did levels of snow reach two feet in certain parts of Virginia, but many area declared a state of emergency due to the power outages. From what information I can gather, a state of emergency has been declared in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Washington D.C. and Maryland. (more…)
